His-tag
When expressing His-tagged proteins Cobolt or Nickel can be used for purification:
- If you need high yield choose HisPur Ni-NTA resin (yield: 60 mg/ml)
- When high purity is more important choose HisPurCobolt resin.
GST fusion protein
Purify recombinant GST fusion protein with Pierce Immobilized Glutathione
Agarose giving a yield of 10 mg/ml
For high throughput or if less hands on time is critical GST fusion proteins
can be purified with Pierce Glutathione Magnetic Beads.
