QuantiFluor dsDNA System
The QuantiFluor dsDNA System contains a fluorescent DNA-binding dye that enables sensitive quantitation of small amounts of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) in solution. The dye shows minimal binding to single stranded DNA (ssDNA) and RNA.
The QuantiFluor® dsDNA Dye offers greater sensitivity over absorbance at 260nm (NanoDrop®) low-concentration samples, and better or equal sensitivity performance when compared to PicoGreen®. 10pg/µl vs. 20pg/µl for Quant-iT PicoGreen® (1µl of sample in a 200µl assay volume).
The E2670 contains sufficient reagents for 2,000 assays at a 200µl scale, including 25ml 20X TE Buffer (pH 7.5); 1ml QuantiFluor® dsDNA Dye; 100µg Lambda DNA Standard, 100μg/ml
