RTP Pathogen Kit
The RTP® Pathogen Kit contains pre-filled Extraction Tubes with freeze-dried buffer containing all components needed for sample lysis (lysis buffer, carrier RNA, proteinase K). Simply add your sample and save up to 40 % time compared to conventional manual extraction protocols.
- Preparation time: 20 min (without lysis)
- Elution volume: 60 µl
- Starting material: Up to 10 mg tissue sample
The lyophilized buffer in RTP technology contains Lysis buffer, Proteinase K/Lysozyme, and carrier nucleic acid allowing for a One-Step-Lysis process. This means less pipetting steps and therefore less pipette tips which is better for the environment.
