Gingerbread Lab Challenge
The Gingerbread Lab Challenge has officially ended... and we have two winners to announce!
Thank you for participating - we are happy to see so many unique and innovative creations.
Winners
From Sweden:
Talbot Lab, Karolinska Institutet
With the motivation:
It was not an easy task to select a winner in our Gingerbread Lab Challenge, as creativity has truly flourished and it has been genuinely enjoyable to see all these amazing entries. Thank you to everyone who took part!
The winner was chosen with the following motivation: this lab has, with great attention to detail, created a laboratory out of the gingerbread pieces and truly made a “Gingerbread Lab”! They have used the parts in a clever way — for example, turning chimney pieces into an incubator — and have also added details such as a centrifuge and pipettes.
From Denmark:
Wegeberg Group, Physics Chemistry Pharmacy

With the motivation:
It has been very difficult to select the winner of our Gingerbread Lab Challenge, as we received many truly impressive and highly creative entries. The choice fell on this gingerbread lab precisely because it was made to look like a real laboratory and infused with a good dose of humor. However, everyone who submitted an entry deserves great praise and a big thank you for being so engaged in this Christmas project.
